Introducing ?Institutionalized?

Thank you to all of you who have responded to the posts, emails and adverts. The response has been absolutely phenomenal. I apologise to everyone I have not been able to reply to personally, or in some depth, but because of the numbers, it has not been possible to answer all of your questions, individually.

We have now set up a new Website
www.institutionalized-records.co.uk

which hopefully sets out all your answers, and will be the hub of this operation, with message boards and an area where all the news is, and when the next meetings are.

It is a flash site, so you will need the flash plug in to be able to access it. There is a html version in progress as we speak.

The working date for the official launch of the music side will be 1st September 2002, which will coincide with a launch party in London, with exposure in the national press. Prior to that we will have a series of limited edition mini-releases which will be 4 track label samplers one artist per track, to gauge response and to give everyone taking part some input.

At the same time, the first meeting will be on the 12th February at 8pm in the first floor of the Blue post pub, newman st, off Oxford St for all filmmakers, musicians and artists living in London. If you can make it come along.. you won't miss us, as there are quite a few people turning up already.

If you have any showings coming up, then please, email us your details and we will publicise them on the site.

There is space on the site for you to be one of our featured artists, and if you are interested, please email us a short biography, as well as a link to your website, and a link to download a sample of your work. At the beginning of March, we will have a postal address that you can send your CD?s to, if you do not have a website.

All of this is absolutely free, and there will be the opportunity for any of you to feature your films online, and possibly sell some on through the site, if you wish.
